MODES of support
Every project I do is customized to the program or organization I am working with and reflects their unique goals. In general, my work falls into these three categories:
Consultation - Typically, I work with organization or program leaders to determine what their needs and goals are and how I can help. These conversations continue throughout the duration of a project. Beyond this, consultation might include supporting internal evaluation staff, occasional check-ins after a formal project is over, reviewing documents, etc.
Faciliatation - This is my specialty! Based on initial planning discussions, I design and implement an experience or set of experiences for members of an organization (exactly who depends on the goals of the work). This often includes building theories of change, guiding reflective conversations and practicing evalautive thinking skills, but the possibilities are as varried as the organizations themselves.
Presentation - In some cases, a organization or group may simply want someone to speak about organizational learning, evaluative thinking, developing theories of change or any of the other items listed above. I can do this, too.
scale of support
I am happy to work with an organization for as short as a week (including preparation time), and for as long as five years or more!
Please get in touch so that we can start imagining how I can help!
